Zhengde Elliptical finned tube is a heat exchange element composed of base tube elliptical tube and external fin. Common ones include elliptical rectangular finned tube, elliptical oval finned tube, elliptical circular finned tube, spiral elliptical flat tube, elliptical H-shaped finned tube, etc. Elliptical finned tube is gaining attention due to its superior performance compared with circular finned tube. Elliptical finned tube has been widely used in industrial fields such as ethylene and oil refining. Characteristics of finned tubes
(1) Compared with circular finned tubes, elliptical finned tubes are easier to achieve compact layout, which reduces the overall volume of the entire heat exchanger and thus reduces the floor space.
(2) Due to the shape characteristics of elliptical finned tubes, the air side resistance is small, the heat transfer coefficient between fluids is increased; the thermal resistance inside the tube is relatively small, which increases the heat transfer of the fluid inside the tube.
(3) The heat transfer area of elliptical finned tubes is larger than that of circular tubes with the same cross-sectional area. This is because the heat transfer perimeter of elliptical tubes is longer under the same cross-sectional area.

Characteristics of finned tubes
(4) The most commonly used elliptical finned tubes are rectangular steel fins, which have high strength, the base tube is not easy to freeze and crack in winter, and have a long service life.
(5) Since elliptical finned tubes can be arranged more compactly, the front row of tubes has a greater impact on the rear row. The external flow resistance of the tube can be reduced by increasing the fin spacing of the rear row of tubes, but the number of tube rows should not be too large.
